Justine Nawrot, 5.4 pupil at Campbeltown Grammar School is announced as the winner of the first Jolomo Schools Painting Award. At a ceremony held in the Scottish Parliament, hosted by George Adam MSP, Justine received her Award from Dr John Lowrie Morrison OBE, chairman of The Jolomo Foundation. In addition to the specially commissioned Award, Justine received 500 with another 500 being presented to Peter Lewis of the art department of Campbeltown Grammar School. Also present at the ceremony was Justine's mother, Wioletta, and Michael Russell MSP, Cabinet Secretary for Education and Lifelong Learning who, along with Education Scotland, helped launch the Award across Scottish schools.
